Just launched for 2025, the Ardnamurchan AD/Mezcal Cask Release is one of the most exciting new drams of the year. Smoky, coastal Highland spirit meets the earthy, vegetal bite of ex-Mezcal casks, creating something truly unique.
Distilled in 2017 and peated to 30ppm, the whisky spent most of its life in bourbon barrels before being finished for 20 months in ex-Mezcal casks, absorbing layers of saline tang, smoky agave, and green minerality.
Bottled at a robust 55% ABV, just 4,968 bottles were produced across 20 barrels.
