E.H. Taylor Small Batch Bourbon
Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. is basically the godfather of modern bourbon. The man introduced copper fermentation tanks, pioneered climate-controlled warehousing, and was instrumental in the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897 – the law that stopped distillers passing off flavoured paint stripper as straight bourbon. So yeah, a bit of a legacy.
This Small Batch is aged in the very same century-old warehouses Taylor built at Buffalo Trace, and bottled at a full 100 proof as the Bottled in Bond stamp demands. Caramel corn and butterscotch lead the way, with vanilla, dried fruit and a soft spice of pepper and tobacco on the finish. It’s rich, balanced and dangerously easy to drink for something at 50% ABV.
One of the most sought-after everyday bourbons in America – and near impossible to find on UK shelves. This is your chance.
