Marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the distillery, Glen Grant Exploration Series No. 1 takes the classic Speyside style on an unexpected adventure.
Initially matured in bourbon barrels, this single malt was then finished in rum casks, enriching Glen Grant’s signature orchard-fruit character with layers of tropical sweetness, dark sugar, and gentle spice.
On the nose, it’s full of soft stone fruits, candied orange, banana, and oaken vanilla. The palate delivers floral vanilla, muscovado sugar, malt loaf, and spiced banana bread, before easing into a creamy finish laced with pineapple pulp and nutmeg.
