GlenDronach 21 Year Old Parliament – 2020 Release
Only 99 tickets available
Win a bottle of one of the most coveted drams in the GlenDronach core range. The Parliament takes its name from the colony of rooks that have nested in the trees overlooking the distillery for almost 200 years – and this particular release is one collectors and whisky lovers have been chasing ever since.
Why the 2020 release? When GlenDronach mothballed its distillery between 1996 and 2001, it created an unintended gift for future drinkers. With no new spirit being laid down during those years, the 21 Year Old bottlings from this era were drawn from significantly older stock – meaning the whisky in this bottle is believed to be closer to 25-27 years old. More age, more depth, more complexity – all at a 21 Year Old price point. It’s no coincidence this release took home Best Highland Single Malt at the World Whisky Awards in 2020.
Matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, bottled at 48%, non-chill filtered and natural colour. Expect rich layers of dark fruit, chocolate, warming spice and that unmistakable GlenDronach sherry character.
With only 99 tickets up for grabs, these won’t hang around. Get in early.
