This was such a big hit when we released it last time that we hunted for another bottle and amazingly, considering that its one of only 326 single cask Macallan’s, we found one!
That’s right – Macallan – not Extra Value Whisky? What is this Tesco?
Well….no.
It turns out that those clever folks over at Little Brown Dog were a little fed up with the pretentiousness associated with a certain whisky brand and decided to hide this release under plain clothes. It’s a single cask from 2010, finished in Pedro Ximenez, bottled at a great cask strength of 57.9% and, perhaps most importantly, it’s one of only 326 bottles.
This is likely going to be both delicious and also the talking point of your collection – just warn your family members, you don’t want them using it for the Christmas Cake, believing it to be bottom of the range!
