There are a few, highly selective, distilleries that linger long in the imagination of drinkers and collectors alike. Of those, only a few have been so emotive that plans have been put in place to bring them back. For us, this conjures up just two names – Port Ellen and Rosebank. Of course, with these once silent distilleries, it is the older stock, the original, if you will, that really brings the greatest attention.
This bottle of Rosebank was distilled in 1989 – the same year that the Soviet Union broke up – but it has survived in much better fashion. This is the real deal – collectible and delicious – don’t miss out.
