The Dancing Cultist 12 Year Old comes from an undisclosed Highland distillery, matured in first-fill ex-red wine casks and bottled by the indie outfit Spirit of Voodoo — known for doing things a little differently.
It’s richly textured, quietly playful, and undeniably moreish — a dram for those who enjoy stepping slightly off the beaten path.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral honey and orchard blossom with a gentle prickle of green pepper
Palate: Creamy oak, vanilla, buttered teacakes, caramel, herbal malt, and vinous grip
Finish: Dark grapes, clove, and oak-soaked fruit with a Highland twist
