OK, this is going to sound a little odd to some of you, but bear with us…..
You know we have a lot of love for Little Brown Dog (LBD), the independent bottler who’s fabulous secret Macallan releases we’ve had recently on our site. Well…..LBD have released a few CRITICALLY ACLAIMED aged blends over the last couple of years, under their brand “Wee Mongrel”. These blends are very highly awarded, scoring higher than some of the most well known whiskies you’ll know.
Well, they released the 3rd (and potentially the final) batch this week and get what – it sold out in seconds! What would you expect – 21 years in Oloroso and PX, cask strength and ex-Edrington stock – there’s a lot to like!
My guess is that the real whisky afficionado’s in the whisky giveaway community are going to grab this one super fast!
This competition will be drawn on Tuesday the 16th of April.
